There are a number of transportation services and benefits for seniors, family caregivers and others needing assistance.
Some community based programs offer:
- Volunteers drivers for appointments, grocery shopping, and adult day programs.
- Bus training for seniors and persons with disabilities
In your community, you will want to inquire if the municipality offers accessible taxis and/or specialized bus services for persons with disabilities.
